Abstract

L'invention se rapporte aux pigments. Elle concerne un procédé de fabrication de pigment dioxyde de titane de forme anatase, selon lequel on oxyde le tétrachlorure de titane en phase vapeur pour former du dioxyde de titane de forme anatase, et on melange le pigment sortant du réacteur d'oxydation à de l'eau pour former une bouillie aqueuse, caractérisé en ce que l'on ajoute à la bouillie aqueuse 0,03 à 0,45 %, en poids d'un composé minéral d'aluminium choisi parmi l'aluminate de sodium et le trichlorure d'aluminium, comme calculé en Al2 O3 et relativement au poids du pigment dioxyde de titane contenu dans la bouillie. Utilisation par l'industrie du TiO 2 pigmentaire.
