Abstract

La présente invention est relative à un procédé de traitement thermique de tous déchets susceptibles de subir une transformation physique ou chimique sous l'action de la chaleur, ainsi qu'à un four pour sa mise en oeuvre. Suivant l'invention, ce procédé consiste à alimenter en déchets à traiter une enceinte isolée de l'atmosphère, à chauffer lesdits déchets à une température entraînant au moins la transformation physique ou chimique partielle de ceux-ci, à condenser les gaz formés provenant de transformation physique ou chimique susdite, à recueillir les produits de condensation obtenus, et, éventuellement, à récupérer, sans risque de pollution, les gaz non condensables Le procédé de l'invention permet de traiter dans une même enceinte, en vue d'une valorisation intéressante, des déchets plus ou moins toxiques, d'origine très diversifiée.
