Abstract

Robinet hermétique avec joint d'étanchéité cylindrique extensible, destiné au réglage de l'écoulement de liquides et de gaz, et caractérisé en ce que, à l'intérieur de son corps 1 est logé un joint cylindrique extensible 4 appliqué par une bride 5 sur une portée 2 du corps 1 auquel il est fixé par l'intermédiaire d'une plaque métallique 10 au moyen d'une vis de blocage 8 qui est munie d'une ouverture cylindrique il à travers laquelle coulisse un organe d'entraînement 12 dont l'extrémité inferieure prend appui sur une plaque métallique 7 au fond 35 du joint cylindrique extensible 4 qui, par dilatation, ferme l'ouverture de passage 3 du corps 1 et en ce que, sur l'extrémité supérieure de l'organe d'entraînement 12, s'applique un manchon tournant 13 muni d'une ouverture 15 dont le diamètre correspond à celui d'un trou 16 pratiqué dans le corps du robinet 1 et dans lequel est vissée une butée 17 pour un épaulement 14 du manchon 13.
