Abstract
L'invention concerne un piston en métal léger avec des éléments de renforcement Un piston 1 selon l'invention comporte des éléments de renforcement 5 s'étendant dans la direction longitudinale du piston dans des positions prédéterminées prés des côtés opposés de chaque alésage 4 pour l'axe de piston, ces éléments de renforcement établissant des contraintes à la compression dans le piston pour réduire la tendance à la formation de fissures du fait des forces axiales à la traction pendant le fonctionnement du piston. Un piston selon l'invention convient en particulier pour les moteurs à combustion interne.
