Abstract

Appareil de traitement d'un courant de gaz d'échappement contenant des particules de carbone. L'appareil comprend un logement 23 formant une chambre d'écoulement comprenant une entrée 27 de courant gazeux d'échappement et une sortie 22, un filtre 29 placé dans la chambre d'écoulement pour permettre la traversée du gaz de l'entrée vers la sortie en retenant les particules de carbone et un élément chauffant 37 placé dans le logement 23 au contact du filtre 29 pour chauffer le filtre à une température suffisante pour brûler les particules de carbone. Application aux automobiles.
