Abstract

The automatic film developing system has a transfer head, which moves along a guided path. The transfer head being fitted onto a tubular frame, the head being driven by a motor. A removable film support can be fixed to the transfer head. The system has means for creating an alternating movement of the film support, and means for supplying the support with water. The system has also a means for programming the movement of the transfer head. The transfer head has a base plate which supports an electric motor. The motor is designed to displace the head by means of a rack and pinion or alternatively by a friction wheel. The movement of the head is guided by two shafts on which slide cylindrical bearings attached to the base plate. The rack being fixed to the guide shaft.
