Abstract

The display system has a housing in which are mounted two removable rollers (2, 3) or a removable cassette. Wound over the rollers or contained in the cassette is a strip on which there is images or texts. These images or texts can be moved in front of a pair of windows are being at the front of the housing the other at the rear. One of the windows can be illuminated or not. The roller or cassette system is driven by a motor (7) energised from the mains supply or by batteries. The motor (7) is connected to the rollers by a belt drive. A control switch (14) is fitted to the motor circuits so that the system may be controlled remotely.
