Abstract

PURPOSE:To rewind a photographic film even if it is torn at some perforation by generating a film running signal synchronously with a body of revolution rotated as the photographic film is run and by resetting a timer circuit, which has shorter delay time than one frame for starting the reversing of a motor, by said generated signal. CONSTITUTION:A driven sprocket 62 rotated in engagement with the running of a photographic film 4 is provided to generate a film running signal, by which a timer circuit having shorter delay time than one frame is reset. Therefore, the film running signal is not generated synchronously with a driving sprocket 30 which advances the photographic film 4 by a motor 1. Consequently, even if the film is torn at its perforation 4a by the driving sprocket 30 to operate a frame advancing mechanism which controls a one-frame advance by the motor, the timer circuit operates to form a reversing circuit for the motor 1 before the frame advancing switch S3 of the mechanism turns off, thereby rewinding the photographic film 4 automatically.
