Abstract

La présente invention concerne le domaine des compositions de revêtement. La composition selon l'invention comprend A 30 à 50 parties en poids de silice colloïdale et B 50 à 70 parties en poids de i. dialkoxysilane disubstitué et de ii. trialkoxysilane monosubstitué, le rapport pondéral de i à ii allant de 1:19 à 1 :4, avec la condition que tout ou partie des groupes alkoxy des silanes peuvent être remplacés par des groupes hydroxy. L'invention concerne également un procédé de revêtement d'un substrat à l'aide de la composition précitée de même que le substrat ainsi revêtu. Les revêtements obtenus à partir de la composition précitée sont utiles notamment dans les applications ou une excellente résistance à l'abrasion et aux intempéries est requise.
