Abstract

Ensemble de protection et d'emballage d'une bobine cylindrique, du type comprenant un couvercle 2 comportant une partie plane et un rebord cylindrique extérieur 21 réalisés à partir d'une tôle ou d'un feuillard de relativement faible épaisseur, caractérisé en ce que la partie plane est constituée par une pluralité de secteurs indépendants 27 solidaires chacun du rebord cylindrique 21, et s'étendant chacun à partir du rebord cylindrique jusqu'à une distance de l'axe dudit rebord qui est legèrement supérieure au rayon du moyeu de la bobine à protéger, en ce que le diamètre du rebord cylindrique est légèrement supérieur au diamètre extérieur de la bobine à emballer et en ce que le rebord du couvercle est fendu dans toute son épaisseur au niveau de l'une des séparations 22, 23 entre secteurs de la partie plane. Application notamment comme emballage de bobine de tôle.
