Abstract

Dispositivo de freno de disco destinado a ser utilizado en combinación con un disco de freno giratorio, que incluye: un elemento de soporte previsto para estar montado en una posición fija a horcajadas sobre la periferia del disco de freno; unas primera y segunda pastillas de freno montadas en el elemento de soporte de modo que puedan entrar en contacto con las caras opuestas del disco de freno, estando las pastillas de freno dispuestas en el elemento de soporte de modo que las fuerzas de arrastre impartidas a las pastillas durante el funcionamiento sean transmitidas al elemento del soporte; y un elemento de apriete para desplazar a la fuerza las pastillas la una hacia la otra y en contacto con el disco de freno, estando el elemento de apriete montado de manera deslizante en el elemento de soporte de modo que pueda desplazarse paralelamente al eje de rotación del disco, e incluyendo una primera porción situada en un lado del disco y que incluye unos medios para obligar la pastilla situada en este lado del disco a desplazarse hacia el mismo, y una segunda porción dispuesta en el otro lado del disco y que está conectada con la primera porción por un par de medios de conexión, caracterizado porque los medios de conexión (19, 20 o 46, 47) cuando se observan en una dirección paralela al eje de rotación del disco (3 o 38) están dispuestos de manera sustancialmente simétrica con respecto al plano central de apriete , (22 o 53) del conjunto de freno (1 o 32) y constituyen las extremidades circunferenciales de las partes del conjunto de freno (1 o 32) que cubren el disco (3 o 38).
