Abstract

The brush for washing cars etc., has an active portion supplied with a consumable product such as detergent, and detachably mounted on a support forming the reservoir for the product, with an injection device between them. The active portion (1) has a passage (34, 35) communicating with one in the support (3) and connected to the reservoir. A valve (19) in the support passage is spring-loaded shut, and can be moved by the user into a position connecting the reservoir to the active portion. The valve can be formed by a wall separating the reservoir from its passage and containing a bore through which a slide passes. Depending on the slide position, a groove in it extends to both sides of the wall, or is on one side of it only.
