Abstract

Cette enveloppe est du type consistant en des éléments d'appui et de maintien à assembler autour de l'appareil à isoler, avec interposition de couche de matériau isolant entre l'appareil et les éléments de maintien. Suivant l'invention, elle est caractérisée en ce que l'enveloppe isolante est formée par au moins une couche de matériau isolant 2 en forme de bande qui est appliquée ou tendue autour du carter à isoler 1 de manière étanche et en entourant et obturant les espaces libres, la paroi frontale et la paroi arrière 4 du carter 1, qui sont pourvues d'ouvertures latérales d'accès découpées pour l'entrée et la sortie des moyens de fonctionnement de l'appareil, étant recouvertes par des couches de matériau isolant appliquées directement sur ces parois frontale et arrière, les joints de la couche en forme de bande 2 et des couches isolantes étant disposées avec chevauchement de leurs bords. L'invention trouve une application avantageuse sur les chaudières de chauffage ou accumulateurs d'eau chaude.
