Abstract

L'invention concerne les techniques de stabilisation des trains de tiges de forage rotary. Le stabilisateur de l'invention comprend un raccord spécial 22 intercalé dans un train de tiges de forage et un manchon stabilisateur amovible 20 qui est fretté hydrauliquement sur une partie légèrement conique 40 du raccord. L'extrémité inférieure 54 du manchon 20 est renflée en 70 pour former une surface de contact importante à laquelle sont appliqués les efforts de compression produits par la tige suivante dont l'embout mâle ou femelle coopère avec celui du bas du raccord. Les efforts de compression sont ainsi intégralement transmis par le manchon 20 à un épauelement 44 du raccord pour protéger l'embout inférieur du raccord des contraintes excessives qui pourraient entraîner des déformations permanentes empêchant le démontage ultérieur du manchon stabilisateur.
