Abstract

Dispositif pour freiner l'arbre principal d'un métier à tisser dans lequel est interposé dans la voie de transmission entre le moteur primaire et l'arbre, un accouplement à friction débrayable, contrôlé par les organes assurant la sécurité du processus de tissage, qui comporte un organe de pression coulissant qui, dans une première position extrême, le tissage se déroulant normalement, maintient une liaison cinématique par friction entre l'arbre et le moteur, et dans une seconde position extrême, en cas d'incident de fonctionnement, établit une telle liaison entre ledit arbre et un frein solidaire du bâti du métier, caractérisé en ce que le frein 17, 19, 20, 21 peut être desserré ou libéré sans changer la position de l'organe de pression 3.
