Abstract

Dispositif de chanfreinage du bord d'un verre. Une meule rigide qui présente une face abrasive annulaire, applicable contre l'arete du bord du verre, est montée sur un arbre de rotation horizontal dont l'axe rencontre celui du verre et est déplaçable avec lui sous le contrôle d'un galet suiveur applicable sous une pression élastique réglable contre la face extérieure du verre en rotation, et suivant un axe horizontal rencontrant celui du verre. La meule suit les défauts de planéité du bord et ceux de concentricité et d'ovalisation du verre Applicable notamment aux verres creux.
