Abstract

Horizontal deflection circuit for the cRT of a television receiver enables selective operations of the receiver on a number of different television transmission line standards. The circuit comprises a horizontal oscillator switchable between a pair of oscillation frequencies. This is coupled to a horizontal output circuit which switches between a pair of potentials controlled by the oscillator. A switching circuit ensures selection of a higher potential during a high frequency of the oscillator and a lower potential during the low frequency. A control device operates the switching circuit in relationship to the horizontal output circuit.
