Abstract

The reversible motor with gear box, differential and a pair of sets of reduction gears are used to drive the endless drive gears or drive wheels of a vehicle. The differential is controlled by the motor through a control valve. The differential unit (13) has a stator (26) with seals (27) and two annular grooves (28, 29) with ports (24, 25). One shaft (16) is fixed to a flange (31) and a crown gear (32) and the other shaft (15) is fixed to a flange (33), a sleeve (34) and a distributor (35). The second shaft (15) is coupled by a bobbin shaft (36) to a ring (37) with external teeth engaging the crown gear (32). These form a gear pump with the ports (24, 25) and if there is no flow through them and ducts in sleeve (34) shaft (35) and pump then the shafts (15, 16) turn together. Otherwise if there is a flow these shafts turn relatively to each other at a controllable rate.
