Abstract

A pulley (10) which supports the cable (12) and which turns on a shaft (14) mounted on a tower forms part of a drag ski lift. On the cable are attachments (16) to the towing fixtures. They can also be detached and have a washer (18) threaded on the cable and gripping it under load. The attachment (16) has a hinge pin (20) lateral to the length of the cable and a lever (22) pivots on the hinge pin. On the lever is a tension spring (24) with its end (26) fixed to the end of the lever. The pulley has guide (28) to guide the lever over the pulley and there is a further bent guide (36) which presses the cable on to the pulley.
