Abstract

Appareil de coupe de filaments synthétiques en fibres discontinues. Il comporte un tambour rotatif 1 sur lequel un élément 9 à couper est enroulé de manière à former plusieurs spires. Un dispositif, comprenant un rouleau 7 dont l'axe est incliné par rapport à celui du tambour, fait avancer à force les spires formées par l'élément à couper de manière qu'elles atteignent des lames 3 espacées à la périphérie du tambour et faisant saillie radialement de ce dernier. Domaine d'application : production de fibres discontinues.
