Comprimé formé avec un ou des creux dans sa surface et contenant un composant soluble dans l'eau, enrobé avec un agent d'enduction qui est insoluble dans l'eau mais perméable à celle-ci, pour obtenir ainsi un comprimé médicamenteux à vitesse d'elution constante. Utilisation de ce type de comprimé pour obtenir une efficacité prolongée de médicaments.
