Abstract

L'invention concerne un détecteur électrochimique de gaz dont l'électrolyte est formé d'une membrane polymère solide échangeuse d'ions. La membrane est pourvue, d'un côté, d'une électrode de perception et d'une électrode de référence, et de l'autre côté, dune contre-électrode. Pour que le courant d'arrière plan soit minimal en fonctionnement au O par rapport à l'air, l'électrode de référence est disposée au voisinage immédiat de l'électrode de perception, mais hors des lignes de flux de courant entre la contre-électrode et l'électrode' de perception. Détection de CO, NO2 , etc par exemple dans l'air.
