Abstract

La présente invention est relative à une protéinase obtenue à partir de Trypanosoma cruzi, caractérisée par : a. un poids moléculaire moyen de 200 000 + 40 000; b. un point isoélectrique à un pH de 5,3 + 0,2; c. une constante de Michaelis avec le substrat p-nitroanilide d' alpha -N-benzoyle-arginine de 1,22 x 10**-4 M +- 0,05; d. un optimum réactionnel avec le nitroanilide d' alpha -N-benzoyl-arginine comme substrat à un pH de 8,5 +- 1,5 et une température de 40 degrés C +- 10 degrés C. Cette protéinase est utilisable comme principe actif d'un médicament
