Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie pharmaceutique. Elle a pour objet des hydroxyacides qui ont des propriétés curatives contre les ulcères. Ces composés peuvent s'obtenir par voie purement synthétique ou au contraire être préparés au départ de produits de fermentation naturelle, en l'occurence l'acide hydroxyisocanadensique qui est un produit recueilli par fermentation de Peneciflium canadense. Les composés préférés sont l'acide 2-(5 alpha -n-butyl-4 beta hydroy-2-oxotétrahydrofurane-3 alpha -yl)-2 alpha -méthylacétique, l'acide 3 beta -méthyl-5 beta (1' beta -hydroxybenzyl)-2-oxotétrahydrofuranne-4 alpha -ylcarboxylique et l'acide 3 alpha -méthyl-5 beta -(1 beta -hydroxy-n-pentyl)-2-oxotétrahydrofuranne-4 alpha -ylcarboxylique.
