Abstract

Perfectionnement au procédé de préparation du percarbonate de sodium 2 Na2 CO 3 , 3 H2 O2 par action d'eau oxygénée titrant entre 60 et 80 % en poids sur du carbonate de sodium monohydraté ou du carbonate de sodium hydraté titrant entre 75 et 90 % en poids de Na2 CO3 , ledit perfectionnement consistant à ajouter au milieu réactionnel une petite quantité d'un agent tensio-actif non ionique stable vis-à-vis de solutions concentrées d'eau oxygénée et solutions alcalines de carbonate de sodium. Le procédé de l'invention permet de préparer du percarbonate de sodium ayant une densité apparente comprise entre environ 0,6 et 1 g/cm**3 et un diamètre moyen compris entre environ 210 et 610 microns en partant d'un carbonate de sodium ayant une densité apparente pouvant atteindre et dépasser 1,2 g/cm**3. Le percarbonate de sodium trouve de nombreuses applications, notamment comme constituant des lessives.
