Abstract

The heavy load handling system using lifting gear of any type, uses a beam frame (1) suspended from the fixing (2) of the lifting gear and two pulley blocks (3) mounted below the beam and joined together by their cables (4) to the load (5). There are also vertical cables (6) between the beam and the ground (7). The beam (1) is a metal frame suspended on four suspension cables (8). These carry the drums and a weighing scale (9) near the ground end of the cable. In combination with the lifting gear, thrusters can be used. These are anchored to the ground and have a roller applied to the load to free it from the ground and guide it.
