Abstract

Procédé perfectionné pour convertir des composés organiques chlorés en anhydride carbonique et chlorure d'hydrogène en phase gazeuse à l'aide d'oxygène moléculaire à température élevée en présence de catalyseurs à base de métaux nobles. On envoie les gaz contenant les composés organiques chlorés et de l'oxygène moléculaire à température élevée sur un système catalyseur comportant une zone de catalyse A qui contient du platine et une zone de catalyse B qui contient du palladium, en faisant passer les gaz d'abord dans la zone de catalyse A puis dans la zone de catalyse B. Le procedé selon l'invention permet de parvenir à des taux de conversion plus élevés avec des quantites de métaux nobles plus basses.
