Abstract

La présente invention concerne une matrice pour aliments contenant de l'amidon, une matière grasse, au moins un polyol et de l'eau. La préparation et la cuisson éventuelle de cette composition donne une matrice molle, pliable et étirable ayant un excellent caractère agréable à mâcher. A cette matrice, on peut ajouter suffisamment de protéines et d'autres ingrédients nutritifs pour former un aliment. Application particulière à la préparation d'aliments mous et secs pour animaux familiers, ou au mélange avec des aliments durs et secs pour animaux familiers de façon à former des mélanges composites.
