Abstract

The packaging comprises a sheet of card or similar material, wrapped round several articles to form a single package. The ends of the sheet are placed one over the other to give a lap joint, this being secured by pairs of interlocking tongues. Several pairs are spaced along the joint, the lower part being a square tab (60) cut into the body of the sheet of material and joined on one side (65). The upper tab is in the shape of an arrow head, similarly constructed. The upper is pressed through into the lower by a plunger, the two interlocking together.
