Abstract

Procédé fournissant des diphénols de pureté élevée. Il consiste à disperser le diphénol souillé dans de l'eau, à chauffer la bouillie résultante, à ajouter un co-solvant polaire aprotique soluble dans l'eau, jusqu'à dissolution ou pratiquement dissolution de la bouillie de diphénol à proximité ou au point d'ébullition de l'eau ou du système de solvants, à refroidir la solution pour obtenir la séparation du diphénol purifié et à récupérer le diphénol purifié. Application à la purificiation du bisphénol-A.
