Abstract
The parent patent describes enclosures served by heaters and a fan to direct hot air for fitting heat shrinkable wrapping on articles conveyed through the enclosure. This addition describes use of a collecting nozzle and duct to recover some of the heated air exhausted from the enclosures and recirculate the air to the fan intake. Partial recycling of heated air improves the thermal efficiency of the system, allowing the equipment previously described in detail to maintain the required enclosure temps. in spite of low (8-15 degrees C) ambient air temps.
