Abstract
La présente invention concerne un réacteur catalytique pour le reforming en présence de vapeur d'hydrocarbures. Ce réacteur comprenant un premier lit de catalyseur et second lit de catalyseur disposé coaxialement avec le premier lit. Les produits de la réaction sortant du premier lit passent dans le second lit de façon essentiellement adiabatique permettant une réduction substantielle des hydrocarbures plus lourds que le méthane n'ayant pas réagi dans le premier lit. L'appareil est compact et utilise seulement la chaleur des produits de la réaction quittant le premier lit
