Abstract
Transducteur à ultrasons présentant une caractéristique directive unidirectionnelle concentrée et pratiquement exempte de maximums secondaires. Un transducteur capacitif 1 comportant de préférence une membrane en électret 5, qui présente une distribution de vitesse décroissant à mesure qu'on se rapproche de son bord, approximativement suivant une courbe de Gauss, est disposé à l'une des extrémités d'un élément directif en forme de pavillon 2, qui s'élargit vers son autre extrémité, de préférence approximativement selon une fonction exponentielle. Ce transducteur est utilisable indifféremment comme source de son ou comme microphone.
