Abstract

La présente invention concerne un détecteur de givre pour dispositif de réfrigération incluant des serpentins réfrigérants pourvus d'ailettes de refroidissement. Le détecteur de givre suivant l'invention comprend un émetteur d'un faisceau étroit de rayons tels qu'infrarouges 11 et un récepteur 12 prévu pour recevoir ledit faisceau, ledit émetteur et ledit récepteur étant disposés l'un et l'autre de telle manière que le faisceau de rayons emis soit réfléchi vers ledit récepteur par toute formation suffisante de givre, telle que sur les ailettes 13 des serpentins réfrigérants, et seulement dans le cas de ladite formation. Utilisation : appareils de réfrigération et systèmes de climatisation.
