Abstract

La présente invention concerne la résine phénolique liquide, utilisée comme agent de durcissement dans les procédés d'obtention des résines thermodurcissables. Selon l'invention la résine phénolique liquide est caractérisée en ce que la résine a une consistance liquide à des températures de + 10 degrés à - 30 degrés C et représente un produit de condensation des constituants suivants : a. un composé sulfoné ayant une consistance liquide à des températures supérieures à 25 degrés C et formée par sulfonation de 1 mole de phénol et de 0,5 à 0,29 mole d'aldehyde; b. de l'urée ou un de ses dérivés; c. du formaldéhyde, en faisant réagir lesdits constituants dans un rapport molaire de 1,0 pour 0,1 à 1,0 pour 0,1 à 1,0 respectivement. Le produit obtenu possède une haute stabilité au stockage. La résine susdite est difficilement soluble dans l'eau et a une viscosité de 1 à 100 poises à 20 degrés C.
