Abstract

Perfectionnement à la fabrication de borures, carbures et nitrures finement divisés de métaux des Groupes III-VI de la classification périodique, par réaction entre des vapeurs d'halogénure métallique et des vapeurs de bore, de carbone ou d'azote, dans un réacteur 34 à haute température. On sépare le produit pulvérulent de l'effluent gazeux du réacteur à une température de 200 degrés C ou plus, à l'aide d'un filtre poreux fritté 51; on fait passer la poudre du filtre dans un appareil de réception 73 purgé au gaz inerte et maintenu à 200 degrés C environ ou plus, et on refroidit la poudre sous atmosphère inerte. En opérant la séparation à haute température, on réduit la quantité d'impuretés, telles qu'halogénure ou hypohalogénure n'ayant pas reagi, adsorbées sur le produit.
