Abstract

The thyristors of each pair of opposed diagonal switches are triggered by means of a control circuit. This is in order to achieve total energy recuperation so as to permit regulation of the cooking temperature by respective coupling variations between the inductors and the metallic bases of working pots (90). The input of the control circuit are supplied from two transformers having primary windings in series with diodes. The transformers secondary windings receive signals during the second half periods of each oscillation period from a resonating load (7) or (8). The transformers or the control circuit supply pulse with approximately coincide with the end of each second half wave of resonant current fed from one of the switch pairs. The pulses supply a trigger circuit for the thyristors of the other switch pair or vice versa.
