Abstract

The electrical connector has a cylindrical outer case (7). An elongated insulator (8) is in the case (7), with an axial through hole (8a) holding a contact (9), and a device (7a, 7b) holding the insulator (8) in the case (7). The insulator (8) and the contact (9) have at their ends interacting means (8b, 9c) locking the contact in the insulator. An insulating member is pressed in contact with a flange (7a) at the end of the housing, and is retained by an inwardly projecting rivet (7b) passing through a matching hole in the side of the insulator.
