Abstract

L'invention objet du présent brevet vise d'abord, à permettre l'application nouvelle des procédés dits de trempe, à toutes sortes d'autres alliages métalliques que les aciers dits trempant, en outre à en réaliser une mise en oeuvre originale, selon un procédé dérivé de celui dit de << trempe superficielle >> et plus précisément, par application nouvelle du procédé dit << d'ultratrempe>> par <<plasma>>, en l'appropriant au but nouveau d'assurer une fusion superficielle d'un << film >> de faible épaisseur, sur les pièces à traiter et dans une fraction de temps avantageusement écourtée, pour ne pas défavoriser la combinaison et même le synchronisme de cette fusion préalable, avec son auto-refroidissement quasi instantané. Enfin, l'invention vise encore les nouveaux produits industriels ainsi obtenus et par exemple, la réalisation de tubes minces ainsi << durcis >>, pour en améliorer la rigidité, ou au contraire pour en réduire le poids, notamment pour des structures ou châssis de véhicules et plus particulièrement, pour des << cadres >> de motocyclettes, de vélomoteurs, de cyclomoteurs ou de bicyclettes.
