Abstract

Ce dispositif de colonne de direction comprend un arbre de direction 23 reçu dans une colonne de direction 1, une plaque écrasable ou déformable 9 disposée au voisinage de la colonne de direction et un organe 13 coopérant avec cette plaque, fixé sur la colonne de direction et disposé de façon à venir en contact avec la plaque écrasable et limiter le déplacement de la colonne de direction, de façon que ledit organe de contact écrase la plaque à la suite d'un choc et permette à la colonne de direction de se déplacer vers l'avant, la plaque comportant une zone de section réduire et deux extrémites adaptées pour la fixer et ledit organe étant en contact avec ladite zone de section réduite
