Abstract

Dans un système de rail de contact pour voie électrifiée, on utilise des rails de contact à section en double T dont l'âme est pourvue d'une rainure partant du pied de rail. Cette rainure peut servir à recevoir des becs de guidage que comportent des isolateurs-supports, et à recevoir, en gagnant sur l'encombrement, des organes d'assemblage et de liaison électrique pour joints fixes et/ou joints de dilatation. L'existence de cette rainure conduit à une amélioration de l'évacuation thermique et à un important moment d'inertie mécanique.
