Abstract

Pallet (2) which is made from reinforced plastic, is loaded with stacked boxes of food stuff, such as fish, mixed with ice. In order to collect the water from the molten ice during transit, the pallet has raised edges to make it tray shaped. Perpendicular support webs (6, 7) are provided in order to form a base for the stack of boxes. The compartment formed by the webs are linked together so that the collected water can flow between the different areas. This ensures that a common water level for all pallet compartments (8) is obtained.
