Abstract

L'invention concerne un foret à plaquettes de coupe. Un foret 10 selon l'invention comporte une queue 9 ayant à la partie avant deux évidements 13 et 14 pour l'évacuation des copeaux et au moins deux plaquettes 11 et 12, l'une des plaquettes 11 étant une plaquette périphérique et l'autre plaquette 12 étant une plaquette centrale, ces deux plaquettes étant inclinées dans les directions radiales l'une par rapport à l'autre d'un angle 180 degrés +- gamma de façon telle qu'il soit obtenu pour la queue du foret un équilibre des forces. Application au forage des métaux et des sols.
