Abstract

La présente invention concerne une installation pour le décrassage de poches de coulée. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend une machine de décrassage 1 comportant des moyens 5, 8 pour prendre chaque poche 2 à décrasser, la soulever et la faire basculer dans une position inclinée de décrassage, de telle façon que son ouverture soit tournée vers le bas et, pour la ramener, une fois décrassée, en position de départ, des moyens pour immobiliser la poche en position inclinée de décrassage, un ensemble de décrassage mobile comprenant une tête porte-outil 26 et des moyens pour entraîner en rotation cette tête autour d'un axe 23 confondu avec celui de la poche en position inclinée de décrassage.
