Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil d'affichage de symboles sur une matrice d'éléments d'image. Des positions de points de symbole nécessaires pour définir ce symbole sur la matrice d'affichage sont sélectionnées et, pour chaque point, la luminosité relative de plusieurs éléments d'image voisins de la position de ce point est réglée de manière que ce groupe d'éléments d'image crée une impression subjective que le point de symbole se trouve dans la position voulue. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'affichage de données sur un écran de tube à rayons cathodiques.
