Abstract

L'invention concerne la suspension des véhicules à moteur. La plaque supérieure 20 d'une traverse qui porte un boîtier de direction 10 est fixée de façon amovible aux longerons 4, de façon à pouvoir se déplacer vers le bas et vers l'arrière en cas de choc frontal. Le boîtier de direction tourne alors autour de l'accouplement à cardans 11, sans entraîner un recul de la colonne de direction et du volant 6. Application à l'amélioration de la sécurité passive des véhicules.
