Abstract

La présente invention concerne un étau à amplificateur d'effort incorporé. Cet étau est caractérisé en ce que le mécanisme amplificateur d'effort 6 comprend un organe central 21 formant coin, disposé suivant l'axe de l'effort de serrage, présentant deux rampes latérales 2 la symétriques par rapport au plan longitudinal de symétrie xx' de l'étau et convergeant l'une vers l'autre vers le mors fixe 2, des moyens 7, 8, 14 pour déplacer le coin 21 vers le mors fixe 2 et en sens inverse, et, de chaque côté du plan xx' de symétrie longitudinal de l'étau, d'une part deux rampes 23 prévues respectivement sur les faces frontales en regard du mors mobile 4 et du coulisseau d'appui 5 et convergeant l'une vers l'autre vers l'extérieur de l'étau, et d'autre part un poussoir intermédiaire 22.
