Abstract

The process applied by electrostatic spray gun material suitable for pulverisation to a think structure of very low conductivity, e.g. a cloth. A plate is used, with a surface formed by one or more components of low resistivity, and pulverisation is effected by an electrostatic generator. Each conductive component of the plate is polarised opposite to the pulverised material, typically by earthing. The this structure is brought into contact with the plate, and pulverisation is carried out near the latter, pref. over an area not going beyond its perimeter.
