Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit flocking on the whole surface of puff by the procedure in which while holding a puff element whose whole surface is coated with an adhesive on linear contact surface or point contact surface, electrostatic flocking is made on its one side and then while holding it in the wholly contacted state, flocking is made on its other side.
CONSTITUTION: The urethane puff element 1 whose whole surface is coated with an adhesive is put on the base 2 of the conveyer 3 and passed through the electrodes 3 and 4, during which the upper whole surface of the puff and the upper half of its side are evenly flocked electrostatically by the piles 7 falling vertically along an electric force line of electric field from between the netty electrodes 4. Then, the puff element 1 is inversed on the cloth conveyer 10 and passed through the electrodes 13 and 14, during which its back surface and allied side are evenly flcoked.
