Abstract

Procédé de préparation de la N-(3,4-diméthylphényl)-D-ribamine. Ce compose répond à la formule I ci-après. On soumet à hydrogénation catalytique la gamma-lactone de l'acide D-ribonique dans un solvant organique et en présence d'un 3,4-diméthylnitrobenzène dont le groupe nitro est réduit en partie. La N-(3,4-dimCthylphényl)-D-ribamine est un produit intermédiaire important de la préparation de la vitamine B2.
